Discover Whanganui is the regional tourism organisation championing one of New Zealand's most distinctive cities — a place with world-class art, culture, and a river that runs through everything.
The brief for the 25/26 campaign was simple: make people feel Whanganui before they'd even booked a trip. Rather than spreading budget thin across every channel, we took a deliberate digital-first approach — concentrating investment where the storytelling could land with the right people, and building on months of online community-building we'd already done alongside their team.
